Jonathan Radway

Chair of the CIO and Board of Trustees. He worked for 10 years as a District Judge in London before retiring to North Yorkshire in 2021. His previous experience includes lay membership of a cathedral Chapter, non-executive board member and vice-chair of a large NHS Foundation Hospital Trust; providing consultancy support for judicial reform in Croatia when it was an accession country to the European Union; consultancy support to the Ministry of Justice in Ukraine; and Justices’ Chief Executive in Hertfordshire.

Claire Hensman

After a short career in the City, Claire Hensman C.V.O moved to Cumbria in the ‘80s where as a housewife and mother she volunteered widely, mostly trustee/directorships: outdoor centres for disabled people, the NHS, Lancaster and Cumbria Universities and a prisoner literacy scheme. She has long been involved with her local church and Carlisle Cathedral in a financial capacity and is a trustee on the Churches’ Trust for Cumbria. She was High Sheriff of Cumbria and subsequently HM Lord-Lieutenant for 10 years, retiring in July 2023.

Philip Holt FCA FCIE

Established a firm of Chartered Accountants in January 2007 to focus on charity, not for profit companies and trusts and to provide virtual finance directorship to companies and charities, including a number of churches. Philip is registered to carry on audit work in the UK by the ICAEW. He is a trustee of two grant giving charities. He recently retired from chairing a museum of rural life in North Yorkshire. Philip and his wife run a farm in North Yorkshire and are closely involved in local community and third sector organisations.

Sir Richard Mantle

John Whitfield

John is a retired chartered accountant. On retirement John and his wife, Helen moved to the Hope Valley in Derbyshire. Retirement didn't last - they bought and renovated a historic property, set up a holiday let business in the old farm buildings and are now thoroughly involved in local life. John is a trustee of Church Army and of a charity providing grants to overseas theological students. He helps a number of local organisations and churches with music and finance.

Professor Erinma Bell

Erinma is a Community Peace Activist who is co-founder and CEO of CARISMA (Community Alliance for Renewal Inner South Manchester Area), a charity offering life-chances for people by giving them positive alternatives other than violent street, gun and gang crimes. She is a Deputy Lieutenant and first woman in 150 years to have a statue of herself unveiled in Manchester Town Hall; recognised as the "Spirit of Manchester" 2022; recognised as one of the 100 Inspiring Women in Manchester and listed as one of the 250 most influential people in Greater Manchester. Also recognised as one of the Top 100 Nigerians in UK (2014), she serves as Ambassador for Moss Side, Manchester, and is a Rotary Peace Fellow.
